Q: WHAT "TRADING VALUE" DO MY POINTS HAVE?
A: One of the GREAT things about POINTS is... POINTS ARE POINTS there is no trading power with POINTS. There is no confusion about "Ratings or Rankings". Think of POINTS as a form of currency. A dollar printed in Denver is the same as a dollar printed in Philadelphia! All that matters is that you have enough POINTS to make the transaction you have chosen.
Q: HOW MANY POINTS DO WE NEED?
A: That depends on your "Travel Dreams". Here's an example.. Lets say you and your family want to stay in Hawaii or the Caribbean (somewhere warm and beautiful) in a 2 bedroom "GOLD GROWN" resort each year. You will need a least 46,000 POINTS. Now those same 46,000 POINTS could give you 5 WEEKS in the same locations if you can take advantage of "Instant Exchanges"!
Q: WHAT IS AN "INSTANT EXCHANGE"?
A: Any request made within 45 days
(that's more than 6 weeks!) of the check-in date that is confirmed on the initial call will only require the POINTS equivalent of the regions lowest season and smallest unit in a Standard Resort or... 9,000 POINTS which ever is LEAST.Q: CAN I VACATION AT MY HOME RESORT?
A: You’re welcome to come back year after year and enjoy all the amenities your resort has to offer. And, as a POINTS member, you have priority for specific days or weeks at your resort based on how far in advance you make a reservation. If you own fixed time, you would have that week to use year after year.
Q: CAN I BOOK A CRUISE OR RENT A CAR?
A: Use your POINTS to treat yourself to a fun and relaxing cruise aboard some of the world’s finest ships. Or use your points for a rental car during your vacation.
Q: CAN I CHOOSE HOW MANY DAYS I WANT TO STAY?
A: Life is to busy for a full weeklong vacation? As a POINTS member, you decide how long you want to vacation, be it a week or two, or shorter stay of only a few days.
Q: WHAT ARE THE EXCHANGE FEE'S FOR POINTS?
A:1 and 2 night reservations, $49. 3 and 4 night reservations, $79. 5 nights and more, $99.
Q: CAN I TRADE FOR OTHER RESORTS IN THE RCI EXCHANGE SYSTEM
A: RCI has a network of nearly 3,800 resorts in over 100 countries. Wherever you have dreamed of vacationing, you can use your POINTS to make those dreams come true.
Q: CAN I USE MY POINTS FOR AIRLINES, HOTELS & OTHER "GOODIES"?
A: With RCI POINTS, you own the whole vacation experience. You can plan your vacation and use your POINTS to build the adventure your way. For example, book airline tickets to your port of call, spend the night at a quality hotel, and then take a luxurious cruise, all using your RCI POINTS.
Q: CAN I SAVE OR BORROW POINTS TO CREATE MY DREAM VACATION!
A: Yes, here's an example... You promise to take the kids skiing next year, but you really want to spend a romantic weekend alone for your anniversary. Simply save POINTS from this year and use them for both vacations next year. Or borrow Next year’s POINTS to get the vacation you want this year. You can even rent POINTS!
Q: CAN I DEPOSIT MY WEEKS INTO MY RCI POINTS ACCOUNT?
A: Yes! Simply deposit your RCI Weeks into your RCI Points account. There is a $26 fee for this and in return, you'll get more Points added to your existing Points balance. More Points mean more choices and flexibility.
